Responsibilities:
Electronic Metal Finishing is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our metal finishing processes meet the highest standards of quality, precision, and customer specifications. Your work will directly impact our reputation for excellence in industries like aerospace, medical, and defense.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections of finished products using a variety of precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Conduct laboratory testing to verify the thickness, adhesion, and other properties of plated coatings.
Document and maintain detailed quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
Investigate root causes of quality issues and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Assist in maintaining and auditing the company?s quality management system (QMS), adhering to industry standards such as ISO 9001.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with metal finishing processes (e.g., plating, anodizing, powder coating) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of quality control principles.
Proficiency in using precision measurement equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or technical certification is a plus.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
