Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections on finished parts using micrometers, calipers, dial gauges, scales, and hardness testers.
Evaluate product quality by accepting or rejecting parts based on drawings, blueprints, or customer specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation by completing inspection forms, log sheets, product travelers, and non-conformance tags.
Coordinate daily workflows with final inspection and shipping departments to consistently hit delivery schedules.
Support team operations by assisting on the production line, packaging, and shipping as needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Technical Tool Knowledge: Practical experience using quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
Blueprint & Math Literacy: Ability to interpret technical drawings, written/verbal instructions, and solve basic math problems.
Communication: Clear written and spoken communication skills to highlight quality issues to team members and management.
Task Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task without direct supervision, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in quality inspection or manufacturing.
Punctual with a proven track record of strong attendance.
Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
