Responsibilities:
Serve as the Quality Interface (GSI/CSI) for customers and government agencies (including DCMA, DLA, and Space agencies) to coordinate meetings and inspection requirements.
Facilitate root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigations with internal cross-functional teams to resolve customer quality concerns.
Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation in compliance with the latest AS9100 and ISO9001 revisions.
Support customer KPIs, oversee scorecard performance indices, and execute Continuous Improvement Plans (CIPs) to reduce returns and achieve flawless On-Time Delivery (OTD).
Monitor non-conformances, analyze process trends, and mentor personnel on IPC standards, ESD protocols, and high-reliability assembly standards.
Skills:
Proficiency in core quality tools: Lean Manufacturing, 6S, 5-Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, Defect Pareto analysis, and SPC fundamentals.
Strong analytical ability to evaluate technical issues, aggregate data, and prepare actionable investigation reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interface with clients, regulatory officials, and internal team members.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP production systems and standard Microsoft Office suite tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, IPC standards, and ESD protocols.
Experience with J-STD-001 (including NASA Space Addendum) and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is highly advantageous.
Active ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) is preferred.
