A growing fabrication company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support daily production quality across all departments. This is a Quality Inspector position is a hands-on role that requires continuous movement throughout the shop, performing inspections, verifying measurements, and ensuring powder-coat finishes meet company standards. Responsibilities:
Perform in process and final inspections across all fabrication departments
Check production measurements using digital calipers and other precision tools
Inspect powder coat finishes for color consistency, coverage, adhesion, and overall acceptance
Verify parts meet fabrication requirements, tolerances, and customer specifications
Document inspection results and communicate issues to supervisors and production teams
Work closely with the Quality Supervisor to maintain consistent quality standards
Identify defects, non conformities, and opportunities for process improvement
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety guidelines
Roam the shop throughout the day to conduct inspections as production progresses
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications:
Experience in quality inspection within fabrication, manufacturing, or powder?coat environments
Familiarity with digital calipers, measurement tools, and basic shop math
Knowledge of finish/paint inspection techniques and fabrication quality standards
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shop for the entire shift
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Ability to speak English/Spanish highly preferred to support communication across departments
Reliable, self?motivated, and able to work independently
