Responsibilities:
Line Audits & Inspections: Perform routine quality checks on raw and packaged poultry products to ensure compliance with weight, grade, temperature, and packaging specifications.
Food Safety & Compliance: Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to USDA regulations, HACCP plans, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and SSOP guidelines.
Temperature & Sanitation Checks: Conduct pre-operational inspections, test product/facility temperatures, and verify sanitization levels throughout the shift.
Defect Identification: Identify, log, and isolate any non-conforming products or raw materials to prevent quality issues from reaching distribution.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, real-time quality logs, weight checks, and inspection records; report non-compliance issues immediately to supervisors.
Equipment Verification: Calibrate testing equipment (thermometers, scales, metal detectors) prior to and during production runs.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred for effective line communication.
HACCP or basic food safety certifications are a plus.

Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or inspection within a food processing, meat/poultry, or cold-storage manufacturing setting.
Knowledge Base: Working knowledge of HACCP guidelines, GMPs, USDA standards, and food safety protocols.
Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work early morning shifts (5:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM), Monday through Saturday, including regular overtime.
Physical Capability: Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated plant environment, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive inspections.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in recording data and spotting product discrepancies quickly on a fast-moving production line.
