In this critical role, you will ensure total compliance with internal and customer quality requirements. You will serve as a key partner to the Engineering and Production teams, tracking performance metrics, facilitating root-cause investigations, and ultimately answering the vital question: "Is this product ready for our customer?"
Responsibilities:
Inspection & Conformance: Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Review and approve FAIRs, Test Result Reports, and ensure engineering drawings are interpreted with 100% accuracy.
Nonconformance Management: Lead root-cause analysis (5 Whys) for NCMRs/NCRs and drive CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities for rework or scrap.
Compliance & Auditing: Maintain strict adherence to AS9100 standards and CMMC requirements. Support internal, customer, and regulatory surveillance audits.
Stakeholder Interaction: Act as the primary quality point of contact for both customers and vendors, addressing escapes and reviewing supplier performance.
Continuous Improvement: Track KPIs (scrap, rework, audit findings) to identify trends and partner with Operations on process improvements and artwork redesigns.
Shop Floor Support: Maintain high visibility on the production floor to resolve quality hurdles in real-time, ensuring quality never compromises On-Time Delivery (OTD).
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of mechanical/facility repair, hydraulic systems, and the ability to read complex electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Blueprint Literacy: Expert ability to read and understand complicated blueprints and technical specifications.
Equipment Mastery: Demonstrated ability to maintain and diagnose complicated machinery such as hot presses and radial drill presses.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate measurements in all units, including common fractions and decimals.
Tooling: Must possess a basic set of standard trade tools.

Qualifications:
Quality Expertise: 1?3 years of direct experience in Quality Systems and inspection within a high-reliability manufacturing environment.
Blueprint & Tools: Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting complex specs. Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) is highly preferred.
Analytical Skills: Intermediate arithmetic and geometry skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and KPI tracking.
Experience: Minimum 3?5 years of progressive experience in quality management, including supervisory experience (military or commercial)
