Responsibilities:
Formulate and maintain quality objectives that align with corporate goals.
Interpret and foster a quality philosophy to key personnel throughout the organization.
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Manage Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QA/HSE) initiatives, regulatory compliance, and certifications (ISO 9001, IATF16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Oversee the analysis, inspection, design, and testing of products and components to ensure quality assurance.
Conduct quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements and company records.
Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data and evaluate current processes and process changes.
Review data from all quality control and assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies.
Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.
Inform the management team of significant issues and developments, and the actions being taken to improve the situation.
Direct workers in inspection and testing to ensure continuous control over materials and products.
Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.
Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
Design and implement quality training programs for key personnel.
Directly supervise employees in the Quality Department, managing all stages from development and launch to production and field claims.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Quality Management experience in the automotive industry, particularly in a fast-paced, high-mix, and low-volume environment.
Knowledge of SAP MRP systems.
Certified internal auditor for Quality (IATF 16949/ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001), and Safety (ISO 45001).
Formal training in Six Sigma methodologies, with certification preferred.
CMQ/OE ASQ certification.

Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or six to ten years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts to tasks such as frequency distribution, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
