Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection/testing of final assembly radios, the documentation of defects, data collection and reporting. The QA Inspector will work closely with the QA Manager to provide accurate reporting, charts, graphs etc. to monitor and improve product quality. The successful candidate must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with a high level of precision, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detailed oriented, have the ability to work independently, and be flexible to rapidly changing conditions.

This is a temporary position for 6-8 Months
Responsibilities:
Inspection and testing of incoming materials, sub-assemblies and in-process radios
Ability to read and understand drawings, test procedures and work instructions
Ability to use basic measurement tools.
Inspection of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished product for form, fit and function in accordance to mechanical procedures drawings, work instructions and procedures
Ensure that non-conforming material is identified and segregated and reported
Provide daily reports and input to assist in quality improvement activities
Drive objectives and make judgment calls with safety, quality and performance always in mind
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Strong Excel, Access, MS Word, Power Point, skills required
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
Good analytical skills
Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous visual inspection and testing skills with the ability to use test and measuring equipment.
Ability to read and interpret basic operating procedures, BOM, work instructions.
Ability to complete visual inspection of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished product
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Good vision and/or corrected vision with ability to use micro-scopes and other visual aids.
Work independently and be flexible to rapidly changing conditions
