In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between quality assurance and plant safety. You will be responsible for performing daily quality inspections on manufacturing components, running specialized concrete testing, and coordinating the facility's safety program. Responsibilities:
Inspect Production Materials: Conduct hands-on quality inspections on cast floats, float assemblies, metal fabrications, hardware components, and structural lumber.
Monitor Manufacturing Quality: Audit the concrete casting and plant production processes directly against design drawing requirements.
Perform Concrete Testing: Run specialized concrete testing per regulatory standards ($ACI/PCI$) and specific customer guidelines.
Manage Safety Program Tasks: Actively conduct site safety inspections and execute ongoing tasks required by the plant safety program.
Maintain Safety Compliance: Coordinate plant safety records and ensure all employee workplace certifications remain fully up-to-date.
Document QC Activities: Keep pristine records of all quality control activities by scanning, documenting, and archiving inspection paperwork.
Deliver Safety Training: Lead and perform routine safety training sessions for plant personnel to maintain a secure warehouse environment.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
OSHA Certification: Possession of an OSHA-10 certification is highly preferred (OSHA-30 is a major plus).
ACI Certification: Hold a current ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 Certification, or possess the ability to test and obtain it within 3 months of hire.
PCI Certification: Hold or have the ability to successfully achieve PCI Quality Control Technician Level 1 and Level 2 credentials within your first 12 months.
Strong Communication: Comfort speaking confidently in front of groups of employees to lead training and safety briefings.

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience working in construction, quality control, or a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
Concrete & Fabrication Knowledge: At least 12 months of direct experience working with concrete or performing industrial inspections.
OSHA Awareness: Strong working knowledge of warehouse and production safety standards, with an awareness of general OSHA regulations.
Blueprint Reading: Demonstrated ability to accurately read, interpret, and apply production and shop drawings.
Computer Proficiency: Strong foundational computer skills, including professional familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and office scanning systems.
Core Measurements: Basic mathematical comfort (handling fractions, decimals, and units of measure) and the ability to read a tape measure perfectly.
Strict Dependability: A proven track record of excellent attendance and a firm commitment to the daily work schedule.
