n oversees daily maintenance across the managed assets, which include office and retail properties (both single- and multi-tenant) throughout the Charleston, SC. This role ensures the physical condition and functionality of the portfolio are well-maintained. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple sites. Likes to engage with vendors and tenants!
Responsibilities:
Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, drywall, and painting. Llarge scale project an electrician or plumber will be called in. But minor repairs, squeaky doors, loose door handles, noticing a drip in a ceiling, checking on roof repairs being completed by vendor.
Conduct regular property inspections and report findings to Property Manager.
Monitor janitorial and landscaping contractors.
Track janitorial supplies and stock supply cabinets at properties.
Complete turnover projects such as repainting tenant spaces upon move-out.
Install marketing signs and perform other general facility tasks.
Manage/monitor weekly curbside trash and recycling duties.
Change air and water filters on schedule.
Manage contract service/repair providers
Support miscellaneous maintenance requests (e.g., drywall repair, parking lot striping).
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair.

Trade
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks across several properties.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with tenants, vendors, and colleagues.
Reliable transportation required for travel between retail and office properties across the Tri County area (mileage reimbursed).
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Technical trade school certification preferred.
