You will support the DC operations by performing various HR functions including but not limited to the support of onboarding, attendance tracking, and coordinating associate activities and events. You will also play a critical role in (EH&S and FACILITEIS Support) - including but not limited to supporting Safety protocols, training, and injury reporting. You are an active team player and have enthusiasm for taking on new projects while maintaining a high level of reliability and professionalism.Responsibilities:HR Responsibilities: - Support the HR department in implementing programs to improve the employee experience and identify ways to make connections and execute for 3rd shift teams. Includes execution of employee engagement programs such as year-end awards, supporting the annual performance review process, talent management, and other HR related programs and initiatives.- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.- Conduct new temporary associate orientation ensuring timely delivery as needed and ensure that any direct hire I-9 compliance and completion of Workday onboarding processes are completed.- Provide preliminary analysis on issues that may need DC HR Manager intervention such as timecard issues, workday access, policy interpretation, leadership capabilities, team morale, etc. - Conduct research to navigate employee relations issues and escalate when needed. Conduct thorough and objective investigations under the leadership of the Sr. HR Manager.- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.- Provide support for the temporary employee conversion process, including sending out and processing evaluation forms.- Assist in the execution of Employee Engagement events.Safety and Environmental and Health:- Support the Safety and Environmental and Health Manager - Train employees in safety procedures- Provide support for 3rd shift Safety Committee Members- Work closely with management and associates to increase Safety awareness- Conduct accident investigation and document and proper paperwork- Conduct injury investigations and document proper paperwork- Set up/schedule any hospital/clinic visits necessary for injuries and accidents- Provide safety orientation to all new hire/temporary associates- Ensure safety plans are being followed- Conduct safety observations- Able to lead any Emergency Action Plans (Tornado, Fire, or Power Outage)Working hours: 10:00 PM - 1:30 AMSkills:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to build trust and respect within the organization. - Extremely detail-oriented and able to meet multiple competing deadlines while effectively balancing workload. - Proven ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.- Computer proficiency with MS Office programs, HRIS systems including ATS systems. - Exceptional service attitude and demonstrated willingness to help others.- Basic knowledge of both federal and state employment laws including FLSA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA a plus.- A passion for the running enthusiast and active lifestyle.Education:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- Associates degree in human resources or business preferred, or commensurate experience.- 3+ years of experience in HR Apply Today!
