        Desired assistant will provide dedicated, high level administrative support to a registered financial advisor. Assistant will represent as the face of the advisor through frequent client contact/prospect communications via phone, in-person, and written (email) correspondence. This individual will serve as a bridge between the financial advisor and the client, helping to grow the business through service. Duties will include administration, maintenance, and resolutions of client requests.Responsibilities:Fielding client inquiries and resolving service transactions using thorough research.Processing various client service items, including withdrawals, beneficiary changes, etc.New accounts support: opening & processing new clients paperwork in coordination with team members.Processing paperwork for transfer of assets and tracking the through completion.Entering trades taken by financial advisors (or taking clients orders directly if registered to do so).Processing checks and securities received.Researching information and running reports as needed on specific products as requested by the financial advisor; may include mutual funds, stocks, and annuities.Running insurance quotes; assisting with insurance applications.Managing advisor's time by scheduling appointments, maintaining calendar, coordinating schedules with other staff and individuals outside of firm.Research information needed for client meetings, prepare documents, notes, reports, and presentation materials.Client communication, in person, verbal and written to confirm client appointments via phone/text, greet and assist visitors, send birthday cards, thank you cards.Maintain client records in CRM.Troubleshoot problems; serve as a liaison between advisor and client.Proofreading documents and marketing materials to ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards.Assisting with the planning and execution of firm events, such as arranging seminars and other marketing and advertising activities.General office duties including, ordering & restocking office supplies, shipping & receiving written correspondence.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Highly organized; attention to detail.Superior verbal/written communication skills.Excellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items.Client-first attitude: ability to interact with clients professionally and respond to clients timely.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent problem solving abilities.Ability to recommend procedure and reporting to improve effectiveness of the team.Team player, collaborative, desire to partner with a progressive team and make long-term career investment.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:2-3 years experience working in a financial firmRegistered/licensed preferredMicrosoft proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with CRM softwareMust live in the Houston, TX area Is this career a fit for you?
