As an Inside Sales Representative you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition and revenue (and margin) growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with clients and suppliers, qualifying prospects and closing sales.Our client is a growing supply chain partner for the defense and aerospace industry, working with our clients to maintain and sustain critical platforms and equipment by building and operating efficient and reliable parts supply chains. Benefits package:401(k) and Roth retirement options with a company match Health InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityHealth Savings Account Life Insurance and Supplemental BenefitsGenerous Paid Time OffResponsibilities:- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.- Determine and understand customer needs and requirements.- Close sales and exceed sales quotas.- Research accounts, identify key players and generate client and internal relationships.- Maintain and expand your database of prospects.- Manage accurate quotes, proposals and orders based on client objectives.- Forecast and track key account metrics.Skills:- Can effectively and efficiently manage multiple competing priorities- Able to effectively use exceptional problem solving skills in a complex environment- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectivelyEducation:BachelorsQualifications:- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls daily.- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.- Quickly learn new material: Training provided for selling in the Defense and Aerospace markets.- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.- Ability to work both independently with a self-motivated attitude and in a team environment.- Strong computer skills (browser customizations, VPN, remote desktop, spreadsheet analysis).- Ability to learn customized software and use it to data-mine opportunities.- BA/BS degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Marketing (Technical Products), Business Administration or related field is preferred.- Previous sales experience a plus in a high-paced, high transactional level environment.
