      Looking for a job where you can help your community during the pandemic? This role will provide assistance to Texas citizens calling with questions regarding Pandemic EBT, referring and transferring citizens to proper entities for assistance. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role working for the state through an established Call Center in the Edinburg area.Responsibilities:-Practices active listening in order to take each caller's concerns seriously, fully understands the issue and then provides appropriate resolution or appropriate direction for next steps. -Provides callers with assistance with questions regarding Pandemic EBT. -Answer questions from provided FAQ and accurately documents caller responses in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner. -Clearly communicates information to the caller.-Documents all customer encounters in clear and concise records. -Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PMSkills:Required skills and abilities should include but not be limited to the following:-Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. -Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. -Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. -Ability to regularly attend work at various shift times as assigned.Skills/Knowledge Required: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills.
