      Our Global Fortune 500 Logistics client in Rockford is adding Direct Hire Customer Service Logistics Representatives to their internal team! They will interact and assist customers, drivers and fellow team members via phone, email and fax during the course of the day. Their typical day will consist of tracing shipments, billing discrepancies, running and presenting AP and AR reports for management, invoicing/billing questions and other administrative tasks assigned.* Provide both inbound and outbound customer service support* Perform a multitude of clerical duties during the course of the day including - answering, directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing* Will run AP/AR and other operational reports to management, various departments and customers upon request* Assist customers and drivers with expected delivery times and/or delay* Escalate calls that require dispatch or freight product support* Communicate with customers by phone or through e-mail in order to provide a great customer service experienceWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)Skills:* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Possess the ability to work in a busy - team orientated environment.* Intermediate computer skills leveraging Microsoft office programs and AP/AR reporting* Proficiency leveraging Alpha/Numeric software while demonstrating both speed and accuracy* Good typing skills* Experience in the customer service field is required* Must possess the ability to understand or comprehend written and/or oral instructionsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:* High School Diploma or GED equivalence required* Previous experience working in a logistics environment a plus!* A minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience required Must be flexible to working in changing environments and duties * A background check is required* A drug test is requiredSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
