Let's Talk!Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to:Responsible for supporting the day-to-day quality activities of manufacturing team including working Production teams.Oversee site measuring equipment, gage calibration process. Performing adjustments and ensuring all equipment is calibrated. Implement & maintain site metrology guidelines that identifies the specific item to use for each measurement required in the inspection plan including CMM, Keyance, profilometers, and all measuring devices used.Responsible for creating, maintaining and ensuring proper compliance for all inspection plans, including first article inspections. Completion & deployment of machine capability studies and ongoing SPC & SPC-type programs. Incorporate SPC, skip-lotting and other contemporary practices to minimize workload while maximizing QA yields.Perform data collection and analysis, and determination of compliance, for in process and finished parts/product (including certifications of compliance). Serves as QA dept representative for Line Escalation process on-site for manufactured parts issues. Responsible for completing or overseeing completion of all NCMs, CAPAs, deviations, root cause analysis activities and other QA related activities that are generated from manufacturing. Champions the 8D process for manufacturing parts issues.Responsible for completing the QA dept activities required for completing Change Requests for manufactured parts. Actively engage in the FFQS assessment process. Understand the assessment questions and ensure that questions pertaining to manufacturing are being addressed.Key member of team that creates/modifies PFMEAs and Process Control Plans. Responsible for leading the team for creating/updating/deploying Process Control Plans.Material Review Board member for manufactured partsConduct, support, and participate in audits as required for compliance or performance. Participate in design reviews as required.Ensures that the procedures, work instructions, forms and other instructions that have a QA impact & responsibilities are accurate, up-to-date and followed properly.Communicate, mentor & train manufacturing employees on all aspects of QA expectations, procedures, work instructions, initiatives, audits & assessments and other topics to improve the overall QA awareness in manufacturing.Maintain all documentation for assigned responsibilities so that it is accurate, up-to-date and in compliance with the QMS system.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:Advanced skills in Microsoft Office productsVarious quality engineering software productsASQC certification preferred (i.e. CQA, CQE, etc.)Education:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in related field of study preferred. 5 years' experience in Quality Engineering, or Engineering required.
