      The Commercial Flight Controls Division (CFCD) is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer at our Ogden, UT facility. Ensures maximum cost effectiveness and reliability of manufacturing processes and workflow. Determines the methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for moderately complex products and machine parts and assemblies; ensures that products and processes meet customer quality requirements. Provides producibility input and manufacturing plans for product design or modification.Responsibilities:Customer and supplier interfacingDesign, assembly and test plan procedure and dataProblem solving, design, test and production challengesEngineering tools and computer simulation (i.e. Catia V5, Ansys, MatLab, MathCad)General materials selection and evaluationInterfacing with multiple technical and non-technical disciplinesWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Society of Manufacturing Engineering (SME) or Mechanical Engineering (ASME) certification desired. 0-5 years experienceBS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems EngineeringGeneral knowledge of aerospace or similar industry products and legal and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing plants.Ability to effectively apply continuous improvement methods to quality and manufacturing functions (e.g. pull systems, process mapping, JIT). Ability to use standard business applications software and/or specialized data analysis tools.
