        Spherion has partnered with a large Multi-Specialty Healthcare Organization seeking a Compliance Officer to provide leadership and direction to organization-wide Compliance, Integrity, Regulatory and Internal Audit programs. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for promoting the principles and objectives of the programs to peers, medical staff, MSO clients, governance, and contracted service providers.The Compliance Officer will also demonstrate commitment to ensuring operations are conducted in a manner consistent with the organizations Mission and Core Values, in accordance with the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Responsibilities:- Responsible for the design and operation of the Compliance Program in accordance with organization policies and industry regulatory standards. - Ensures appropriate structure and ongoing alignment of the Compliance Program --- Responsible for the design and operation of the Compliance Program in accordance with organization's leadership, governance, and operating model structures.- Provides leadership and direction to include goal setting, performance input/feedback, and talent management activities.- Ensures compliance with the Code of Conduct, including periodic updates and revisions as appropriate, is distributed to all peers, medical staff, MSO clients, governance, and contracted service providers.- Works collaboratively with other Leaders to establish and maintain policies and procedures addressing areas of significant legal, regulatory, or other compliance risks impacting organization's operations.- Ensures appropriate training and education programs are established for peers, medical staff, and other stakeholders on the Compliance Program.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Must be an energetic self-starter and have the ability to contribute to the growth and success of a rapidly, growing organization- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must be effective in presenting information to multiple audiences including senior management and governance.Education:BachelorsExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:- An Undergraduate degree. A master's degree or other post-graduate degree (e.g., masters or juris doctorate) is strongly preferred.- Minimum 5 years of relevant compliance experience in provider organizations, including leadership responsibilities for compliance program operations.- A thorough working knowledge of the healthcare industry regulatory environment, particularly laws and regulations pertaining to participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs, fraud and abuse laws, regulatory programs, compliance programs and financial and internal control systems/procedures. - Professional certification in compliance (CHC, CCEP, and CHPC) is desirable- Must be comfortable working in a large, complex organization with a matrix management structure.
