        Our client is looking for a dedicated and driven Human Resource Generalist to join their growing team in Pensacola, FL. This HR Generalist is responsible for the administration and development of some or all of the following personnel functional areas: DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, EEO and affirmative action, diversity, performance management, absenteeism and attendance, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, exit interviews, HRIS (SAP), employee relations, personnel policies and procedures and compliance with applicable state, local and federal regulations.Responsibilities:Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.Respond to human resources-related inquiries.Assist with payroll processing.Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.Develop and maintain talent management processes.Monitor employee morale and company culture.Collaborate with the human resources team to develop effective recruitment strategies.Identify future staffing needs.Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.Maintain employee personnel records.Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources fieldUnderstanding of state and federal employment regulationsAwareness of OSHA regulations and complianceUnderstanding of personnel and compliance records managementProficient analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesAbility to maintain confidentialityEducation:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field1-4 years human resources experienceExperience with HRMS/HRIS systems (SAP)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)PHR or SPHR certification preferred If you are interested in joining a thriving industry and you are passionate about Human Resources we want you to submit and updated resume today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
