        Local office is seeking an energetic, self-starting, experienced HR Assistant / Recruiter to join their team. You will be responsible for interviewing applicants, performing screenings, onboarding new employees, and handling various aspects of administrative paperwork. You will also be responsible for standard clerical tasks including answering a multi-line phone system, taking messages and transferring calls as necessary, scanning and uploading paperwork, performing accurate data entry, and greeting any individuals and applicants upon their arrival to the office.Position is full time, receiving 40 hours weekly. Schedule is Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Company offers up to one week of paid vacation available within the first year of starting position.Responsibilities:- Greet applicants and customers as they arrive to the office in an upbeat but professional manner- Answer incoming calls and assisting with any questions asked, transferring calls and taking messages as necessary- Interview, screen, and administer assessments with applicants in the office- Assist individuals with the application process as needed- Set up and confirm appointments for interviews and onboarding- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times- Works as part of a team environment and assists where needed- Conduct new hire orientations with new employeesWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Must be able to efficiently multitask various dutiesProficient clerical skills are required for this positionAbility to successfully work in a team oriented environmentMust be detail oriented and have great organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment is required to succeed in this roleEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be available for the full working hours of 8-5 Monday thru FridayPrevious office or clerical experience Must be willing to submit to drug screen and background checkPlease register at www.spherion.com/apply.
