Manufacturing and assemblyEssential Functions:- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records. - Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures. - Cultivates professional and technical knowledge, keep abreast with development of HR system management methods. - Responsible for recruitment needs and the establishment of a standard and uniformed recruitment process to enhance the chance in bringing in the right fit- Responsible for full life cycle of employee's employment from new hire to termination, and everything in between. - Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.Responsibilities:?Workplace Safety (Maintain a safe & healthy environment, implement safety program, employee safety meetings/training, emergency action plan, safety audits/inspections, disciplinary process for safety violations and non-conformance, partner with local fire department & resources, etc.)?Compliance (OSHA, Wage and Labor Laws, SC & Federal requirements, Employee Handbook/policies, utilize Paychex to ensure overall compliance and standards, etc.)?Standard Operating Procedures (Ensure that employees understand and follow processes for their job junction to meet safety, quality, and production expectations, sign-off on all processes, operator accountability, implement 5S, etc.)?Compensation & Benefits (Ensure competitive pay that aligns with annual budget, salary increase opportunities, initiate reward program for employees, review & compare health insurance plans, 401k plan, explore employee life insurance, etc.)?Staffing (Forecast manpower needs for new assembly production line, work w/staffing agencies for temp labor, recruit the right people for the position, accurate job descriptions for positions, standard hiring practice, etc.)?Employee Relations (Sustain a positive and ethical work culture, initiative to ensure company?s reputation as the ?best place to work?, diversity, employee engagement, concern for employee well-being, best practices for retention, etc.)?Training & Development (Successful onboarding and new hire orientation, identify individual performance needs and growth opportunities in current role & within organization, etc.) ?Performance Management System (Provide clear performance expectations, implement review process for temporary employees and new hires, standardize annual appraisal program for Daye North America staff, coach employees to set them up for success, etc.)?Key Performance Indicators (Departmental KPI?s, productivity, quality, employee turnover rates, organizational goals & objectives, CIP initiatives, etc.)Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:Great communication and team work attitude.
