      This individual will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.Responsibilities:- Under periodic supervision, perform a variety of standard, generally repetitive, manufacturing activities involved in the fabrication, assembly or machine operations required to manufacture composite parts or assemblies.- Assemble parts, fittings, or sub-assemblies on aircraft by using layout tools, power tools or fasteners, such as bolts, screws, rivets or clamps- Perform detailed assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.- Perform work from blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals, and other source data to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specification requirements.- Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments.- Ensure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.- Coordinate with various departments regarding requirements for materials, supplies, equipment and job schedules.- Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:- Experience with mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.- Ability to rapidly read and interpret complex blueprints, mylars, operation sheets and specifications.- FAA Regulation knowledge preferred- A&P preferredEducation:TradeExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- 2+ year???s trade school training or equivalent technical degree- 2+ years of relevant professional experience interpreting technical data and using manual and powered tools- 2+ years operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity- Experience working in a clean room environment- Experience with mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems- A&P license premium Apply today and find a job YOU will love!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
