      Position Summary: Production Operator is responsible to operate the lamination process and ensure continuous production is maintained in compliance with specifications and ensure quality procedures are followed as specified in process instructions and records. This position will be responsible for supervising and controlling the efficient use of human resources, machines and other resources to meet and continuously improve upon our plant's established production standards.Responsibilities:Ensures that all shift personnel comply with safety procedures and usage of required safety equipment.Generates and prioritizes work assignments after receiving daily molding schedule and communicates plan of action to the appropriate personnel.Directs all shift personnel, as needed, to assure that production and quality guidelines are met.Ensures that all necessary procedures, instructions, and equipment are at each workstation.Provides training, guidance, and leadership, as needed, for all shift personnel.Ensures that a safe, clean work environment is provided.Provides verification of daily production and attendance records.Constantly works on problem solving and continuous improvement activities to provide a better and more efficient work environment.Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMSkills:Thorough technical knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of injection molding machines including mold die changes, machine set up and quality related troubleshooting requiredUnderstanding of inventory control practicesLean manufacturing experienceKnowledge of ISO and IATF 16949 standards and systemsProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong leadership skills, including ability to effectively communicate and manage employee performanceEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:5 years of related supervisory experience in an injection molding production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience required Apply online today or call us directly at 828-348-0390Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
