      This position follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's concrete products according to production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. Operates all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertakes standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions. Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications. Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Provides leadership and direction to Operators Level I, II, and III. Orders materials for daily functions of the production line. Ensures the safety and housekeeping is maintained in all work areas of responsibility.Responsibilities:Specific duties include, but are not limited to:???Must have the ability to perform all job functions on the concrete production line for which this role provides leadership. Requires a minimum of 5 or more years of combined experience in all 3 levels of Concrete Production Operator at DiversiTech. Must be fully competent at all functions on the concrete production lines. Overall manufacturing experience of 5- 7 years. Must have mechanical aptitude, computer knowledge, and previous experience operating dangerous and complex machinery. High school education or GED required. Additional manufacturing experience of 3 years in lieu of education.Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:INTER-RELATIONSHIPS Direction is provided by the supervisor and production manager. Must be able to provide direction and instructions to team members. Will train and coach employees.to ensure they can use production equipment or resolve problems. Seasonal temperatures may be extreme at times including excessive heat or cold. This position handles the production planning, procurement, and inventory control for allassigned departments or assigned facilities. Also handles the transportation logistics / movement of finished goods produced at assigned manufacturing facilities to distribution centers. Manages cycle counts, ensuring they arecompleted timely, manage verification of any discrepancies, and ensure alignment on quantity before adjustments are made in JD Edwards, as well as before the annual year end audits. High level of interface with distribution centers to review inventory levels and ensure that they have adequate supply on hand for customer demand.
