      Searching for an exciting light industrial opportunity that will keep you busy and put your skills to use? Spherion-, a locally owned staffing company, is seeking dependable, safety-focused light industrial staff to work for a leading company in Spokane Valley in the Industry Park.Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm + approx. 1 hour of OT each day (so can expect to work at least 45 hours per week)Pay: $26-27 / HourDuration: 8-24 weeks. A break and lunch space not far from where you'll be workingResponsibilities:-Coordinate the movement, storage, and placement of all materials-Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the ERP system of all material transactions -Ensure timely restocking and accurate inventory placement of all materials-Supervise and coordinate the preparation of materials for production work orders, vendor-managed goods, and internal requests for materials-Maintain ERP inventory, locations and ensure transaction accuracy-Manage the daily and long-term staffing needs-Develop and train all functional area employees-Represent the department in all inter-departmental functions related to inventory control issues and procedures-Maintain timely and accurate employee performance reviews and administer associated human resource policies-Perform periodic reporting and accounting of inventory variances, inventory accuracy, back flush logs and serial number logs-Determine space requirements and assist in the layout of the Warehouse department to provide optimum material flow-Coordinate the activities of company truck driver -Assist in the removal and disposal of scrap materials-Provide guidance with respect to outside storage of materials, pallets and other equipment or goodsWorking hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 AMSkills:-Interpersonal and organizational skills-Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment-Knowledge and use of Supply Chain Logistic Concepts-Knowledge of SAP-Well versed with MRP systems and able to understand all aspects of material transactions-Ability to interface and communicate professionally with all levels of management, production, sales, engineering-Ability to function in a fast paced, constantly changing environment-Ability to obtain forklift certificationEducation:AssociateExperience:4-7 yearsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent 4 years' experience inventory control or materials within a manufacturing environment2 years supervisory experience Apply NowSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
