Spherion is seeking to fill four temporary Supply Chain Tech I positions for a Medical Facility in LAFAYETTE! Shift: 7:30AM - 5:00PmPay Rate: $12.00/HR.Various shifts needed: 2 day shifts, 1 eveing shift and 1 night shift!Responsibilities:Ability to locate product, pick, distribute, ship and confirm supply Kan Ban, Par and department requisitions as assigned.Cleans shelves weekly in all work areas (storeroom and supply area) in order to maintain proper storage condition as assigned.Wears proper PPE (personal protective equipment) and terminally clean equipment each shift.Pick up soiled equipment on nursing units located in soiled room, documents the pickup and drop off, cleans withapproved disinfectant and seeks to identify any missing components. Must round patient care units to collect andterminally clean equipment each shift using appropriate PPE.Communicates to Supply Chain Tech II, Supply Chain Team Leader, Coordinator, and/or Supply Chain Managerany urgent requests both verbally and written as required.Understands and complies with infection control, safety, OSHA procedures and regulations.Ability to accurately inventory and replenish Kan Ban and Par locations within allocated timeframe.Processes and replenish all procedure carts in a timely manner utilizing proper documentation.Returns decontaminated equipment to clean staging area on unit or in MM equipment storage area using properhandling techniques and documenting according to procedure.Demonstrates the value of team concept on a consistent basis.Accurately receives deliveries, validates shipment to packing list, and enters receipts into MMIS.Delivers received product to appropriate departments, provides receiving documentation, and obtains signatures foreach delivery document.Scans packing list into MMIS for electronic documentation.Packs and ships goods for return as needed.Working hours: 4:00 AM - 4:00 AMSkills:Excellent verbal communication skills.Utilizes excellent communication skills in all aspects of required duties.Must be proficient with utilizing computerized equipment and reports.Education:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentAny combination of education, training and experience, which could produce the required knowledge and abilities,will be considered.Must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
