        Impact Racing is hiring for a Senior Sales Representative in Indianapolis, IN. Starting Salary is $65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.Impact is currently seeking a full-time, sales and customer service specialist for motorsport team and wholesale sales.Position Summary:The position is a critical part of the sales team at Impact Racing. The position will be tasked to generate new business in the motorsports and wholesale segments. The associate will assist's our customer's by suggesting goods and services for purchase; looks for and suggests ideas that ensure a smooth sales process; and travels, working key events, races and visiting dealers to increase sales and offer a high level of customer service. The associate will look for sales opportunities and ways to grow our business, while following the company's standard operating procedures (SOP).Responsibilities:General Duties- Maintain and share with management a weekly call log; always keep management informed.- Timely processing of customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns by accurately entering into computer system following established SOP.- Attend select consumer and/or trade shows and race events, as requested by management.Sales Functions- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Impact and MasterCraft branded products, and utilize this knowledge to successfully generate sales and create a better customer purchasing experience.- Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the sales team in accomplishing company goals.- Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition.- Determine and track customer requirements in order to recommend specific products and solutions; set appropriate customer expectations.- Recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability and/or specifications.- Present price, credit & terms in accordance with SOP & customers profile.- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related, customer satisfaction.- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.- Report customer service issues to the VP of Sales or Operations Manager to find quick and just resolution.- Contact customers after the sale to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.- Actively prospects sales opportunities and advises management on those activities with recommendations.- Makes outbound phone calls and customer visits in the interest of increasing sales in accordance with the goals agreed upon by the employee and management.- Remain current on consumer preferences, by interacting with customers at events and reading trade journals.- Manage select Team and Driver programs as directed by management.- Setup and maintain Team and Driver files.
