      Is environmental sustainability a core value of yours? All of this in a critical infrastructure industry? The position will involve working in the refrigerant reclamation laboratory and screening used refrigerant impurities. The individual will learn to analyze refrigerants to determine if they meet the industry's standard. Learning Hudson's refrigerant separation process and operating the equipment will also be required.Responsibilities:Understand, from a chemical perspective, the refrigerant reclamation process and the analytical analyses performed to evaluate refrigerants integrity.Collect refrigerant samples from cylinders, drums and bulk storage tanks and prepare samples for analysis.Analyze samples using gas chromatography as needed.Perform wet chemistry and other titration techniques.Enter results from analysis into Refrigerant Handling System.Change GC carrier and fuel gas cylinders when necessary. (Cylinders weigh 200 pounds but can be moved with a hand cart)Work as a team with both lab and plant personnel. Assist other sections of the plant when deemed necessary such as packaging and working the pump-out rack and assisting in the warehouse during slower seasons.Occasional computer responsibilities using Microsoft Office programs.Be flexible regarding work schedule and be able to work overtime when requested.Any other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMSkills:- 1-3 years comparable work experience - Proficient in various computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel. The individual will be trained on analytical software. - Experience using the following equipment: Computer, gas chromatographs, Karl Fisher Moisture Titrators - Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.Education:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:High School graduate required.
