Spherion is currently seeking a Sales Project Manager to join our client's team in Dayton, OH! The ideal candidate is detail-driven and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position involves coordinating across teams, solving problems on the fly, and ensuring customers receive exactly what they ordered - on time, every time! This position will support the Sales and Operations teams by managing customer projects from order release through shipment. This role ensures timelines are met, parts are correct, packaging meets customer standards, and production capacity is balanced across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities:
Manage customer projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
Build and maintain project timelines; identify risks early and drive solutions.
Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accuracy before production.
Verify part details, materials, tolerances, and special requirements.
Use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.) to confirm part accuracy.
Ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping meet customer expectations.
Coordinate production capacity across facilities and shift work when needed.
Communicate project status to Sales, Operations, and customers.
Maintain documentation, approvals, and change requests.
Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or similar manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Prior experience supporting Sales or Customer Service.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing, production coordination, or project management.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong measurement and inspection skills.
Understanding of shipping, packaging, and logistics requirements.
Excellent communication and follow through.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Problem solving mindset and comfort making decisions quickly.
Ability to work across multiple facilities and departments.
Valid drivers license required
