Spherion Staffing is currently hiring Sanitation Technicians for immediate openings in Pelican Rapids!
In this role, you will perform essential sanitation labor following the eight established steps of sanitation. You will play a vital role in ensuring plant safety and regulatory compliance while adhering to all food safety policies and procedures.

Pay: $22/hour
Shift: 3rd shift, 11:20pm-7am
Responsibilities:
-Work cooperatively with leads and management to strictly follow established sanitation procedures
-Safely operate equipment and perform tasks using Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) protocols
-Perform physical tasks including all-night standing, lifting, crouching, and bending for extended periods
-Frequently lift and transport sanitation equipment, hoses, chemical containers, and supplies
-Safely handle food-grade cleaning chemicals while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
-Perform other sanitation and maintenance duties as assigned
Working hours: 11:20 PM - 7:00 AM

Qualifications:
-Ability to work overnight shifts (11:20 PM ??? 7:00 AM)
-Capacity for continuous physical movement, lifting, standing, and crouching throughout the shift
-Willingness to work with sanitation chemicals in a food manufacturing environment
-Must wear employer-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., gloves, face shield, goggles, aprons, boots, and safety glasses)
