We are seeking a reliable, heavy-lifting Warehouse Associate to join our team for the peak Costco TV seasonal distribution at our off-site facility in La Mirada, CA. In this fast-paced seasonal role, you will support critical shipping and receiving activities, load and unload trailers, track driver deliveries, and ensure accurate inventory movement. Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving: Assist with daily loading and unloading of freight trucks, inspect incoming merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute items for processing.
Order Processing & Assembly: Read and follow customer orders, shipping manifests, and work requisitions to gather, distribute, or assemble items as directed.
Logistics & Driver Tracking: Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; conduct check calls with drivers to ensure on-time delivery and validate load data for accounting verification prior to completing delivery logs.
Inventory Management: Participate in regular inventory counts and use handheld RF scanners to accurately log and track product movement across the floor.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free dock and warehouse floor.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer literacy to check in orders and confirm delivery logs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written, verbal, or visual work instructions.

Experience:

Qualifications:
Prior dock, freight, or warehouse experience within the transportation or logistics industry.
Hands-on experience loading/unloading trailers and operating handheld RF scanners.
