Senior Accountant/Payroll & HR Support – We are seeking a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and working in a stable small-company environment where your contributions matter. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while also supporting payroll and light HR administration.
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Prepare monthly financial reporting including P&L and balance sheet support
- Maintain accurate financial records and daily accounting transactions
- Support inventory accounting, cost tracking, and operational reporting
- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Maintain payroll records, deductions, and employee timekeeping data
- Assist with onboarding, employee files, benefits administration, and HR support tasks
- Coordinate with ownership and outside CPA on year-end and financial needs
- Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting required, along with relevant hands-on accounting experience.
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience
- Experience with payroll processing required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- ERP or accounting software experience preferred
- Manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills and team mindset
