We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Senior Accountant I to spearhead day-to-day accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be the guardian of financial integrity-managing the general ledger, driving month-end close, and navigating complex variances. Responsibilities:
Financial Stewardship: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and orchestrate smooth month/quarter/year-end close activities.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate financial statements on time.
Billing & Revenue Operations: Oversee specialized customer billing, including AIA/progress billings, and proactively resolve complex payment discrepancies.
Asset & Inventory Management: Oversee accounting for inventory and fixed asset transactions.
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate external audits, prepare documentation, and stay ahead of evolving GAAP standards and legislation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex variances and drive special projects forward.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in the Manufacturing or Construction industries is a massive plus.
A CPA designation, being a CPA candidate, or having a desire to pursue certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3?5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Education: Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Technical Savvy: High proficiency with modern accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. Foundational knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with contract terms, customer billing, and a working knowledge of lien law.
Core Attributes: High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence without direct authority. You possess critical thinking skills, a positive "can-do" attitude, and an unwavering commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
