Responsibilities:
As the Senior Accountant/Controller, you will be the guardian of this company's financial health. This isn't a role where you'll be stuck in a silo; you will be a cross-functional collaborator helping to navigate capital expenditures and process improvements.
Financial Architect: You'll manage the General Ledger, prepare meticulous financial statements, and lead budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Compliance Captain: From GAAP standards to complex tax filings (State, Federal, and Property), you?ll ensure we are always ahead of the curve.
Process Innovator: You won't just follow the system, you'll improve it. You will spearhead enhancements in internal controls and accounting software implementations.
Mentor & Leader: You'll set the bar for management effectiveness, guiding new hires and coworkers toward professional excellence.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
CMA certification or experience in the manufacturing industry (especially inventory reconciliation) will move you to the top of our list.

7-10 years
Qualifications:
The Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or 10+ years of equivalent battle-tested experience).
The Expertise: 6+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3-5 years of deep technical accounting work.
Tech Savvy: You're an Excel power user and have experience navigating software system implementations.
The Eye for Detail: You spot audit discrepancies before they become problems and explain complex financial data in plain English.
