What You’ll Do
As the "go-to" technical expert on the floor, your day-to-day will involve:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Root Cause Analysis: Moving beyond "quick fixes" to figure out why a failure happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
- Technical Leadership: Acting as a mentor and subject matter expert for the maintenance team, providing guidance on tricky repairs.
- Predictive Maintenance: Using advanced tools and data to spot potential equipment failures before they cause a shutdown.
- Project Support: Partnering with Engineering and Operations on new equipment installs, upgrades, and safety improvements.
- System Management: Utilizing a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and ensure data accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: A 2-year technical degree in Industrial Automation/Maintenance (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Technical Know-How: Deep comfort with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- HMI Fluency: Strong experience with machine interfaces, including calibration, error logs, and programming.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You don’t just follow a manual; you have the analytical skills to find creative solutions to unique mechanical challenges.
- Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Bonus Points (Preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in high-volume production environments.
- CMRT License, OSHA 30, or NFPA 70E training.
- Specific experience with Limble CMMS or Allen Bradley PLCs.
