Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead a U.S. sales strategy aligned with aggressive company growth objectives.
Growth & Expansion: Expand distribution and revenue in current channels and new markets, specifically within the high-growth dog and cat treat categories.
Financial Accountability: Set, monitor, and exceed revenue and margin targets across all product lines.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the U.S. sales team, including national account managers, regional staff, and inside sales.
Performance Culture: Drive results through KPIs, regular coaching, and clear accountability.
International Collaboration: Partner with global leadership (specifically in Europe/Germany) to align brand messaging, promotions, and strategic initiatives.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure demand planning and product launches are synchronized.
Global Presence: Attend biannual leadership summits in Europe to represent U.S. sales strategy among international peers.
Market Intelligence: Analyze trends, customer feedback, and competitive data to refine strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience launching or expanding product lines into new pet categories.
Familiarity with key pet retail channels (e.g., major pet specialty retailers, e-commerce/Chewy, independent specialty, and farm/feed stores).
German language skills or experience working with European parent companies.

Experience: 10+ years of senior-level sales leadership in CPG, preferably within pet food or pet care.
Proven Results: A history of scaling sales teams and driving revenue growth across multiple channels.

Skills: Strong analytical, strategic planning, and interpersonal communication skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel 30% domestically and internationally as needed.
