JOB SUMMARY
The Service and Rental Manager provides leadership for personnel, service delivery, and rental strategy execution while driving the achievement of established revenue targets. Serving as the primary customer point of contact, this role works in close collaboration with the Director of Service & Rental to ensure operational alignment and companywide collaboration. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for enforcing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards to guarantee a safe work environment and foster continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage service and rental operations, including recruiting, developing, and retaining qualified personnel for a team of 1 to 30 direct reports.
- Safety & Compliance: Direct and enforce all corporate QHSE policies daily, ensuring 100% compliance with safety observations, competency assessments, and required training.
- Revenue Generation: Drive the achievement of service and rental revenue targets through strategic tactical planning, market trend analysis, and proactive customer engagement.
- Quality Management: Establish, monitor, and continuously improve quality measurement systems and sector plans in alignment with the corporate Quality Management System.
- Client Relations: Manage customer relationships, serving as the primary liaison for service inquiries, operational updates, and comprehensive after-sales support.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and manage warranty claims, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to perform rigorous root-cause analysis.
- Financial Forecasting: Develop and execute accurate financial forecasts for service and rental revenue as well as departmental operating costs.
- Work Allocation: Prioritize and allocate daily work assignments to service personnel to optimize capacity and consistently meet or exceed customer demands.
- Contract & Cost Management: Support the development, negotiation, and execution of service and rental contracts while identifying and implementing strategic cost-saving initiatives.
- Inventory Control: Maintain appropriate service parts inventory levels to support customer demand and ensure seamless operational continuity.

- 10+ years of industry experience, with broad knowledge of tubular products and services.
- Proven capability in business planning, financial forecasting, and managing concurrent tasks under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, team leadership, customer care, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
