We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Yard Clerk to manage daily yard operations and keep our shipping and receiving inventory moving efficiently. In this role, you will coordinate trailer movements, inspect incoming and outgoing loads, verify inventory against manifests, and support dock operations using sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities:
Yard & Dock Operations: Perform daily yard walks to check, verify, and log trailer locations, seal numbers, and load statuses.
Equipment Handling: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload palletized goods, containers, and materials across the yard and loading dock.
Trailer Coordination: Coordinate with drivers and dispatch to stage trailers, manage yard hostling requests, and maintain clean dock doors.
Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately record inbound and outbound shipments, log yard management system (YMS) records, and report discrepancies or damaged freight immediately.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and equipment inspection protocols.
Working hours: 3:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Skills:
Forklift Experience: Hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
Work Ethic & Punctuality: Proven track record of reliable attendance, especially for early morning starting times (3:00 AM / 5:00 AM).
Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, walk/stand for long periods, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
