As a Skilled Trades Search Consultant, you are the key bridge between skilled trades professionals and premier industrial and manufacturing clients in the Midlands.
Using your relationship-building talent, local market insight, and sales drive, you will manage the full placement cycle—from prospecting companies for direct-hire searches to closing top candidates.
What You’ll Do

Business Development & Client Management:Connect with hiring managers and leadership across the Midlands to secure new direct-hire and search contracts for high-demand skilled trade positions.
Full-Cycle Candidate Sourcing: Build and maintain an ongoing talent pipeline of skilled pros through proactive networking, candidate coaching, and targeted recruiting strategy.
Consultative Guidance:Coach clients on Midlands labor market trends and wage expectations, while guiding candidates through interviews, offer negotiations, and smooth transitions.
Drive Production & Results: Hit performance metrics, optimize time-to-fill rates, and maximize placement fees to grow your desk's revenue and gross profit.
What You Bring
Recruiting & Sales Track Record: Prior experience in agency recruiting, direct-hire placement, or B2B sales (experience in skilled trades, light industrial, or manufacturing sectors is a major plus).
Local Market Insight:Familiarity with the Greater Columbia industrial landscape.
Drive & Relationship Focus: A high-energy hustle mindset balanced with high integrity and client-first relationship building.
