Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fabrication Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling wood and plastic components according to blueprints, quality standards, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with woodworking equipment, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Select, prepare, machine, and assemble materials to specified dimensions
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely (saws, routers, planers, sanders, etc.)
- Verify measurements and ensure proper fit and quality
- Assemble components using fasteners and adhesives as required
- Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards
Education: High School
- High school diploma or GED
Experience: 24 months
- 2–3 years of related experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Experience using woodworking equipment and production machinery
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
