We are urgently seeking an experienced Sr. Machine Operator specializing in manual press machine operations to join a leading manufacturing facility in Brownsville, TX. Responsibilities:
Press Operation & Setup: Safely set up, calibrate, and operate manual press machines according to work orders and job specifications.
Production Leadership: Oversee equipment performance on the line, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure smooth, continuous press workflow.
Quality Inspection: Conduct frequent visual and dimensional quality checks on produced parts using measuring instruments to ensure zero defects.
Tooling & Tool Changes: Install, align, and change out press dies, tooling, and fixtures safely and accurately.
Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine daily equipment inspections, maintain a clean workspace, and enforce safety protocols in a warm/hot plant environment.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
Prior senior/lead machine operator experience in an industrial or high-volume manufacturing facility.
Experience with hydraulic, mechanical, or pneumatic press systems.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: Must possess a High School Diploma (HSD) or GED equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of senior-level experience operating manual press machines or heavy industrial press equipment.
Technical Knowledge: Proven ability to perform die setups, equipment troubleshooting, and routine press maintenance.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a high-temperature industrial setting.
Reliability: Excellent attendance, leadership mindset, and dedication to a 6-day work schedule (Monday ??? Saturday).
