We are seeking a reliable and attentive Manufacturing Tech I - Stamping to join our production team. In this role, you will operate stamping presses to produce high-quality parts that meet work order specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. You will use Plex software to track order details and print labels, perform visual and dimensional inspections, manage finished product reels, and keep work areas clean and organized while maintaining a defect-free mindset.

Responsibilities:
Press Operation & Safety: Safely and efficiently operate stamping presses, stop machines when necessary, and apply hold tags if quality issues or process deviations occur.
Quality & Inspection: Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using tools like calipers, comparators, and Micro-Vu to ensure products conform to specifications.
System Logging & Labeling: Access Plex software to review customer specifications, enter order data, print product labels, and maintain accurate daily work logs.
Material Handling & Maintenance: Remove reels from presses, box them, transport them to staging areas via hand truck, dispose of scrap metal, and perform routine maintenance like oiling press posts and cleaning wash tanks.
Communication & Collaboration: Notify team leaders and supervisors immediately of process deviations and work collaboratively under direction from management.
Working hours: 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Familiarity using precision measuring instruments such as comparators, Micro-Vu, and calipers
Hands-on experience working in a press operating or metal stamping environment
Prior experience utilizing Plex ERP software or similar manufacturing data-entry platforms
Education:
No Degree Required

4-7 years
Qualifications:
General education required with strong reading, computer, and basic math skills
Ability to use computer systems (such as Plex) to input data, check specifications, and print labels
Clear verbal communication skills to report process deviations or product issues to supervisors and team leaders
High level of organization, time management, and commitment to a high-quality, defect-free operation
Physical capability to handle manual tasks, move finished product reels using hand trucks, and dispose of scrap metal
Safety & Quality Awareness: Must be aware of and follow all operational processes, safety procedures, and equipment shutdown protocols
