We are seeking a hands-on Weld Team Leader to supervise 2nd-shift associates in the machining, processing, and assembly of welded machine parts.
In this role, you will lead daily line operations, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality standards, and keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision: Guide, train, and motivate line associates; manage associate relations, evaluations, and personnel resolution with support from management/HR.
Production Tracking: Monitor hourly output, conduct weekly cycle time checks, track inventory variances using Solarsoft, and complete daily/weekly production reports.
Maintenance & Quality: Perform minor equipment troubleshooting, complete daily TPM sheets, train team members on quality standards, and coordinate sorting activities when needed.
Safety & Environment: Enforce company safety policies, maintain 5S standards, and promote a clean, safe workplace.
Communication: Lead daily team meetings, relay company updates, and collaborate across support departments to solve operational issues.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Skills:
Education/Training: Formal front-line leadership or supervisory training preferred.
Software: Prior experience utilizing Solarsoft software for inventory tracking.

Qualifications:
Experience: 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (PDCA, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis).
Software Proficiency: Computer skills required for inputting TPM/inventory data (experience with inventory management software like Solarsoft is a plus).
Leadership: Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with a proactive leadership style.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, perform repetitive motions (bend, twist, reach), work in heat up to 100?F, and work mandatory overtime as needed.
