Compensation: Competitive base salary with a performance-based bonus structure tied to measurable support goals and achieved certifications.
Responsibilities:
- The specific focus of your role will depend on your experience level, ranging from foundational sales support to independent territory management.
- Customer Education: Master and articulate the technical value proposition of products, conducting presentations and demonstrations (virtual and in-person) for fabricators, designers, specialty dealers, and builders.
- Revenue Generation (Experienced Track): Develop and execute strategic sales plans to aggressively grow market share, manage a robust pipeline, and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead Management (Support Track): Conduct targeted market research, qualify new leads, and support the senior team by responding to inbound inquiries and distributing technical content.
- Value Selling: Consult with engineers and fabricators to position our products' advantages over competitive materials.
- Key Relationship Management: Target, acquire, and maintain relationships with major national/regional accounts and specialty distributors.
- Training & Enablement: Act as a liaison for distributor inquiries, manage order flow, and prepare/deliver comprehensive product training sessions for partners, fabricators, and installation crews.
- Logistics & Field Support (Specialized Track): Provide hands-on technical sales support, potentially involving the operation and hauling of heavy equipment/trailers for demonstrations, trade shows, and specialized logistics.
- Sales Cycle Ownership: Own the end-to-end sales process, including assisting with or preparing detailed sales quotes, negotiating contracts, and tracking proposals to closure.
- CRM Management: Maintain a high standard of data accuracy in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), logging all activities, pipeline updates, and contact information for accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Market Intelligence: Collect and document critical feedback on product performance, competitive activity, and emerging market needs.
Skills:
- We are looking for a diverse range of experience, but all candidates must share a foundational drive for excellence.
- Preference for candidates with existing, established relationships in the fabrication, design, and building materials ecosystem.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and professional presentation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with all levels of client personnel, from installation crews to C-level executives.
- Drive & Attitude: Must possess an excellent work ethic, high energy, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow rapidly in a competitive, results-oriented sales environment.
- We are also seeking candidates with a proven sales record and specialized experience operating and transporting heavy equipment/trailers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; OR a background in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Materials Science), Construction Management, Business Administration, or Marketing is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: A willingness and demonstrated ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical product specifications and structural benefits.
- Entry-Level/Support: 0-2 years of professional experience. Prior customer-facing, retail, or relevant experience in sales or building materials is a plus.
- Experienced Sales Executive: 5+ years of successful, quota-carrying outside sales experience, ideally within the heavy equipment sector, or construction industry or closely related building materials sector.
- Logistics/Travel: Ability to travel locally and within an assigned territory for client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and training sessions.
