Spherion Staffing is looking for an experienced Custodian for a part-time temporary Custodian position. This position involves routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings, focusing on non-heavy tasks like dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, and restocking supplies, plus minor maintenance like changing light bulbs and securing doors/windows, to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for occupants. They use basic tools (mops, vacuums) and may assist with setups or minor repairs, reporting larger issues to supervisors.

Assignment Length - 6 months+
Pay: $19-22/hour DOE
Schedule: part-time 10-20 hours per week, flexible schedule based on event schedule
Responsibilities:
-Cleaning: Dusting surfaces, furniture, fixtures; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors; cleaning windows/glass; sanitizing restrooms and common areas; washing walls/partitions
-Waste Management: Emptying trash/recycling bins and moving waste to designated areas
-Supply Management: Restocking soap, paper towels, toilet paper in restrooms; monitoring and requesting cleaning supplies
-Minor Maintenance: Replacing light bulbs, reporting issues like leaky faucets or broken furniture, potentially performing light touch-up painting
-Security: Locking/unlocking doors and windows; checking security at shift end
