Tool Distribution: Issue specific tooling, fixtures, and equipment to CNC machinists to support daily production needs. Inventory Management: Utilize computer systems and Microsoft Office products to track tool usage, maintain accurate inventory counts, and generate operational reports. Quality Control: Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage. Coordinate necessary repairs or replacements to ensure safety and precision. Proactive Monitoring: Track tool usage patterns and notify the supervisor of potential shortages before inventory is fully depleted. Organization: Clean, organize, and properly store all tooling and equipment to maintain an efficient workspace. Operational Support: Assist team members with setting up tooling for machining operations as required. Documentation: Complete and submit daily production sheets to the supervisor in an accurate and timely manner. Safety Adherence: Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and company standards. Participate in safety training, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report hazards to the supervisor.
1-4 years
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and various measurement tools. Experience using computer databases to track inventory and proficiency with Microsoft software. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with a diverse team of machinists and supervisors. Attention to detail, sound judgment, a commitment to high-quality service, and a mindset toward process improvement
Must be able to stand for extended periods Must be able to lift or move up to 45 pounds. Comfortable working with your hands. Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards, including machine operation safety, electrical safety, fall protection, and hazard communication.
