Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual assembly of electronic components (resistors, diodes, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, switches, wires, etc.) onto printed circuit boards via soldering.
- Execute fine hand assembly of microcircuits using microscopes and cleanroom protocols.
- Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies with hand and small power tools.
- Replace defective components and perform repair and overhaul procedures on existing devices.
- Operate machinery that will prepare through hole components for insertion and soldering.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Three-years experience soldering and/or electromechanical assembly of PC boards including the following skills is required.
- Ability to identify electronic and mechanical components (i.e.: resistor color codes and mechanical hardware, etc.)
- Ability to interpret assembly blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly process documentation.
- Current J-STD-001 & IPC 610/620 certifications or ability to obtain certifications with in house training.
- Knowledge of surface mount assembly and rework may be required. ? Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrate knowledge of component identification.
- Skilled in utilizing soldering irons to install and rework both SMT and through hole components on printed circuit boards.
- Responsible for performing fundamental assembly, inspection, and installation procedures for components in production line assemblies.
- Ensures comprehensive documentation to accurately track order progress and assembler performance.
- Conducts thorough inspection and review of components and PCBs prior to and following assembly to verify proper assembly and quality standards.
- Addresses assembly issues and communicates corrective actions to colleagues effectively.
- Maintains and repairs equipment and tools necessary for completing production orders, while upholding a safe working environment.
- Possession of J-STD-001 and IPC 610/620 training certifications is required or highly preferred.
- Must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Requires steady hands, excellent vision, and fine motor dexterity for manipulating and aligning small components, often under microscopic magnification.
- Must have proven experience using hand tools such as soldering irons, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Maintains a clean and secure work environment. Computer literacy is essential, along with the ability to read, write, review, and approve documentation.
