Responsibilities:
As a Remediation Specialist, you will assist in the identification and resolution of security risks across the network. Your primary goal is to ensure that systems remain updated and resilient against potential threats.
Identify and Evaluate: Assist in scanning for vulnerabilities on network-connected devices and help categorize them based on their severity.
Collaborate on Solutions: Partner with IT and development teams to apply patches and resolve technical issues.
Monitor and Track: Keep a close eye on patch compliance to ensure all systems receive timely updates.
Documentation: Maintain clear records of identified risks and the actions taken to fix them.
Support and Communication: Help technical staff and end-users troubleshoot issues related to vulnerability reporting
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Familiarity with various security standards and compliance practices.
Experience coordinating with third-party vendors or contractors on technical projects.
Proficiency in creating basic reports to track progress and findings.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
A solid understanding of IT and network systems.
Experience in roles related to information security or vulnerability management.
The ability to solve problems independently while knowing when to ask for guidance.
Excellent communication skills to effectively relay technical information to your teammates.
