Responsibilities:
As a hands-on leader, you will support the Logistics Supervisor by coordinating daily workflows, managing inventory, and keeping the team motivated and safe.
Team Leadership: Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to warehouse associates and order selectors; communicate performance standards and cross-train staff.
Daily Operations: Monitor picking lines, staging, and loading operations to ensure all route trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently.
Inventory Control: Track, receive, and store perishable and dry goods. Process inventory movements using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Floating Support: Actively move throughout the facility to jump in where needed, solve workflow bottlenecks, and ensure food safety compliance.
Shift Closing: Manage end-of-day closing procedures to ensure the warehouse is accurate, clean, organized, and secure.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience (experience in warehouse logistics, distribution, or vending/route-based inventory is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience utilizing digital Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Certifications: A valid driver's license is required; must have a forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Traits: A solutions-oriented leader who takes initiative, communicates clearly in English, and maintains a high level of accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift in a dynamic warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 54 lbs. and push/pull up to 95 lbs. using proper warehouse equipment.
