Spherion is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate I to join a fast-paced 1st shift logistics team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys an active work environment, values accuracy, and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against packing slips
Organize, store, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipping with accuracy and efficiency
Perform routine inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials using warehouse systems
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks (forklift experience a plus)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operational guidelines
Working hours: 7:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling
Forklift or pallet jack experience (certification a plus)
Familiarity with inventory systems or basic warehouse software
Experience in high-volume or fast-paced distribution environments
Good organizational and time management skills
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for the duration of the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Basic reading and communication skills to follow work instructions and procedures
Good attention to detail, especially when handling inventory and shipping orders
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment
